Recent release ‘THE SQUOZE’ from Covenant Books author Thelda Livingston Mathews is an endearing children’s tale of little wrinkled creatures who don’t quite fit in. In the search to find their place in this world, they find beauty, usefulness, and happiness in their unique appearance.

Thelda Livingston Mathews, a proud mother and passionate volunteer chairperson of the Dogwood Visual Arts Committee in Michigan, has completed her new book, “THE SQUOZE”:  a colorfully illustrated, rhyming children’s tale that teaches a book shouldn’t be judged by its cover.

Mathews shares, “THE SQUOZE is a delightful, rhyming story of multi-wrinkled creatures who look squeezed ’til they are ‘squoze’! Their ugly lower limbs bring taunts and ridicule.

“Little Squiz Squoze leads their search for innovative ways to use their ugly appendages to find their place in the world. Come join him in this didactic tale as he looks for ways to use their unusual appendages and to become happy and useful members of society.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Thelda Livingston Mathews’ new book emphasizes that everyone is much more than they appear to be on the outside and that self-love is the most important of all.

Readers can purchase “THE SQUOZE” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
