Recent release “A Widow’s Tale” from Covenant Books author Linda Swan Burhenne is a deeply personal account of her own personal journey through increasingly tumultuous times she faced as a widow.

Linda Swan Burhenne, an Ohio native, has completed her new book, “A Widow’s Tale”: an open and honest account of her life without her husband.

Burhenne shares, “There are people who are rememberers, and A Widow’s Tale shows Linda Burhenne is one of them. A lifelong Christian, she shares her experiences as a wife, a homeschooling mother of six, and a twenty-four-year public official with five successful election campaigns under her belt. She and her husband, Jack, were part of the charismatic renewal in the seventies, the abortion rescue movement, and spent five years as the only White family in an African-American church in the nineties. A Widow’s Tale recounts their journey through increasingly tumultuous times as seen through the eyes of faith. It is told with painful honesty, liberal humor, and reasonable kindness.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Linda Swan Burhenne’s new book provides a personal depiction of grief and missing a spouse in what will prove to be a relatable and encouraging account.

Readers can purchase “A Widow’s Tale” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
