Recent release ‘Love Letters from Vietnam’ from Covenant Books author Patricia Loring is an insightful narrative of a young man’s eventful life of serving the country, school, and finding love.

Patricia Loring, a retired nurse, has completed her new book, “Love Letters from Vietnam”: a touching opus that tells of a young man’s love for one’s country and his beloved.

Patricia writes, “’Love Letters from Vietnam,’ is a true story about a young man who was enlisted in the Seabees, a part of the navy, while he was in high school. After he graduated from school, he left for two years of active duty. Bob was never really interested in girls; he had one love, and that was working on cars. After he was deployed, they wrote each other, and their love developed from friends to a couple who found the love that was there all the time. They have been married for fifty years.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Patricia Loring’s new book contains a valuable virtue of resolve in facing the challenges of life.

This book treasures the ardent letters of a young man for the author for over fifty years—an exquisite testament that exudes with a message that love conquers.
