Recent release “The Carnelian Caper” from Covenant Books author Donald Lindquist is a thrilling spiritual tale that follows two siblings who try to solve a robbery on their own. When they are kidnapped by the criminal, they learn that they should make decisions wisely as God has a plan for them.

Donald Lindquist, a talented, faith-based author, has completed his new book, “The Carnelian Caper”:  a compelling thriller following a brother and sister whose crime-solving skills lead to their kidnapping.

Lindquist shares, “Following the lead from a story their grandfather told them, a brother and sister try to link his story with a home break-in and theft in the village where they live. A valuable antique Carnelian stamp-seal ring was among the stolen items.

The brother and sister decide to take matters into their own hands, get a little too close to solving the case and are kidnapped. While confined in a small hidden room in an old dilapidated house, extreme fear teaches them to choose the decisions they make in life wisely. Was it this fear and hope that let them know that God has a plan for them? Was it a child’s fantasy that taught them to listen to and trust the voice of their spirit, or was it divine intervention?”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Donald Lindquist’s new book follows the tense adventures of siblings who, though trying to do the right thing, end up in a mess that teaches a valueable lesson.

Readers can purchase “The Carnelian Caper” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
