Recent release ‘Same Kind of Different As Us’ from Covenant Books author Johanna Boomsma is a spiritually driven collection of stories about folks who had lost their way and found a path back to themselves through God.

Johanna Boomsma, an avid traveler who loves to learn and holds a Master of Science in Coastal Zone Management, has completed her new book “Same Kind of Different As Us”: a compelling collection of stories of the hopeless and homeless on their path back to God. This book has helped her earn ministerial credentials and a Ph.D.

Boomsma shares, “Five stories of friends who graciously and haltingly told me their stories of how and when they really met God and God met them in their absolute worst and total brokenness…the resulting lives caught in poverty-stricken scenarios were in human terminology—lost causes or God-forsaken—yet somehow God, time and time again, sent His helpers (through signs and wonders and burden bearers) to help my friends until they were finally able to break their poverty and homelessness cycles. This same God worked in all the different journeys differently, yet the outcome was the same: they were no longer broken, and they wanted to show and tell the world that as He did it for them, He could do it for others!”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Johanna Boomsma’s new book instills hope in readers through the stories of those who had seemingly lost their way until they found their way back to God.

Readers can purchase “Same Kind of Different As Us” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
