Recent release “Grandfather of the NICU” from Covenant Books author Vonstone Wolfe is an emotional story of a loving couple who face a journey of infertility. When their miracle baby is born dangerously early, they find they are not the only family in the NICU in need of a prayer and feel every loss and triumph along with the other hopeful parents.

Vonstone Wolfe, a New York City native who worked a career in Information Technology, has completed his new book, “Grandfather of the NICU”: an emotional tale of love and prayer.

Wolfe shares, “The Grandfather of the NICU: A Parent’s Journey is the fascinating boy meets girl story. They meet and discover things about each other that draw them together in this life-affirming endeavor. They grow together as a couple, battling the daunting specter of infertility to finally conceive and deliver dangerously early. It is the story of a gallant little boy facing long odds in a busy NYC NICU. There are hopeful days, harrowing days, and heartbreaking days as the family provides the love and support that the little fighter needs. But there are other little warriors in the NICU as well, little ones they pull for, pray over, and for whom they hold a vision for a good outcome. This is not always to be, and their hearts break with the parents that must go home alone even as they hold on.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Vonstone Wolfe’s new book offers a perspective of a family who struggled to have their own baby and find themselves hoping and praying for the healing of strangers as they face another fearful time of their lives.
