ILLUSIO Augmented Reality Virtual Mirror for Breast Imaging Launches Kickstarter Project

ILLUSIO combines a fluid and lifelike 3D virtual image of a patient’s breasts with a live image of her face and body to transform a wall mounted TV into a virtual mirror.  The proprietary artistic adapters and deformers allow surgeons to easily manipulate virtual models to quickly replicate any real life breast characteristics.  Patients can now see themselves and their future bodies in real time.  With the ILLUSIO 3D imaging system, she can turn side-to-side and in real-time see herself with all of the size and shape options that her surgeon creates, enabling her to make a quick and confident decision.  

On November 14, ILLUSIO launched a Kickstarter campaign to increase exposure of its ‘Virtual Mirror’ technology for breast simulation.  For the first time, the company will be distributing a smart phone version of its breast simulation system.  For the first time, non-surgeons will be able to download the app and see a virtual simulation of the results of breast augmentation surgery.
