Press Release

Jun 24, 2016

Steelhead Productions, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of its vice president Rhiannon Andersen as a new board member of the Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada chapter. Two years ago, Steelhead launched the Give Happy initiative, to encourage involvement and collaboration with local nonprofit organizations, to strengthen the surrounding community.

Since its founding in 1980, Make-A-Wish has become a household name, recognized for the work they do in making dreams become realities for children who have life-threatening illnesses. The Southern Nevada chapter has granted over 1,650 wishes to children in Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda counties. Southern Nevada is also in the unique position to host children from other states and countries who wish to visit Las Vegas or meet celebrities performing in Las Vegas. Comprised of more than 200 local volunteers, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada is involved in granting a wish nearly every three days.

I am really excited to be a formal supporter of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada. My greatest hope is that my professional and past philanthropic experience will aid in the growth of such an amazing organization.
